In-depth analysis of the music scoresheet and what it means. Using the scoresheet to improve overall performance. From one hour to all day.

Don’t Throw Out Those Scoresheets!

Using the information on all your scoresheets to improve your performance and scores in all categories. From one hour to all day or all weekend as a framework for total improvement.

Make Me a Better Singer!

Correct breathing and posture; using air properly; using resonators; correct vowel formation; using vocal exercises to strengthen performance. From one hour to all day.

Personal Voice Instruction:

Individual voice instruction to teach more effective singing techniques. One-half hour.

How To Be TWBSL* (*The World’s Best Section Leader):

Defining your goal; using your time to help and inspire singers to improve their performance. One hour for each section or a combined one-hour class for all singers.

The Power of Music:

A discussion of how music affects our self-esteem and our physical and mental well-being. One hour, or use as the opening session of a workshop built around this theme.

BE the Music:

Using music of many varieties to stimulate creative thinking. Includes participatory activities. This class is lots of fun. One hour or as a theme/framework for a day or weekend seminar or retreat.

Get a Life!

Protecting your sanity and your relationships by keeping Sweet Adelines in perspective. One hour.

Beginning to Begin to Arrange:

Basic arranging concepts, from choosing a song to understanding harmonization. From one to three hours.

I Know the Basics. Now What Do I Do?

How to improve from basic to intermediate arranging skills. Making an arrangement as singable as possible while maintaining interest and creativity. From one hour to all day.

Ideas for lyrics and melodies; using the right; analyzing effective music; making your song better. From one hour to all day.
